CAMBRIDGE, Ontario – Jul. 3, 2019 – To celebrate their recent opening, the new BarBurrito restaurant on Hespeler Rd is giving away 500 free burritos on Thursday July 11. Choose from any regular-sized classic option, like chicken, pulled pork, ground beef, or vegan soy. Add fillings like rice, beans, cheese, veggies, sauce, and house-made guac and salsa.
Navneet and Hardeep, the owners of the Cambridge location, always knew they wanted to open their own franchise. « We started searching, and we really liked BarBurrito because they make everything fresh. Other restaurants say their ingredients are fresh, but it’s actually frozen stuff, » explains Navneet. « We went to other ones to try their food, but we liked the taste the best at BarBurrito. »
They chose a plaza in Cambridge because it’s close to home and they know the area well. The 2 owners live in Guelph with their newborn baby girl. Navneet muses, « I don’t have free time, but if I got any, I’d just want to spend it with her. Even when I’m away from her, I’m still thinking about her. » Though the opening process has been stressful, Navneet asserts that they are doing their best and fulfilling their dream. She laughs, “Wish us good luck everybody!”.
