ST. THOMAS, ON –– We are happy to announce that we’ve opened our 60th Canadian location, in St. Thomas, Ontario today!
First and foremost, we’d like to thank our valued customers. Your loyalty towards BarBurrito fuels our passion to bring family and friends together over good food and great times, across Canada – and now, to our 60th location in St. Thomas. To our franchise partners, your commitment to providing our customers with freshly prepared menu items and quality customer service has been paramount to our growth as an organization. We sincerely thank everyone involved and we are very excited to be celebrating this milestone on April 6th in St. Thomas. We are also excited to release 6 new burritos, this coming April 16th, so stay tuned!
To celebrate our 60th location, we will be hosting a grand opening fiesta complete with magicians, salsa dancers and T-Shirt giveaways. The Mayor of St. Thomas, Heather Jackson, will also be in attendance for our ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:00 PM. MyFM 94.1 will also be live on location throughout the celebration. For this milestone, we wanted to open in a city that was rich in history. With its historical roots, we felt like opening in a community such as St. Thomas would be perfect for us. This town was a critical transportation hub in the late 19th and early 20th Century. Serving as a mid-point between New York City and Chicago, St. Thomas has serviced and seen many people since its inception in 1881. We hope that we can bring a similar energy to the city with our fresh menu offering and quality customer service.
This new BarBurrito is located just steps East of FreshCo, at 1010 Talbot St. This is great news for Burrito lovers in St. Thomas. So if you’re thinking about what to do after grabbing the groceries or hanging out with Thomas the Train at the Elgin County Railway Museum, the answer should be clear…what’s on the menu?
Behold, options galore! BarBurrito offers a plethora of choices when it comes to fresh Mexican food. From the moment you walk in, you’re presented with the choice of burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, chips & fries and more. With that, there are 8 choices of meat protein and even some vegetarian options with our soy or bean & cheese offerings. The selection doesn’t stop there however.
BarBurrito gets you going with 14 freshly prepared toppings from corn to diced jalapeños. Salsa and Guacamole are made fresh, every morning with fresh produce and our signature seasoning. No sauce? How about 6 gourmet sauces for you to choose from, including fan favourite, Ancho Chipotle! If you’re looking for a little extra heat in this cold weather, you may want to keep an eye out for our new hot sauces: Ghost Pepper Extreme and Jalapeño Eclipse. Too hot to handle?
